Carolina Ale House - Cary

Our last visit here was wonderful! I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich, which was very flavorful.
Substituted the fries on the side for garlic mashed potatoes.
The French onion soup was okay.
The sandwich was really good tho! My boyfriend ordered Carolina BBQ wings and they were delicious!

July 2024 5pm, Saturday. Really liked this place - easy parking,good music, lovely staff, very welcoming, busy but comfortable, nice big booths, or other choices including a patio.
Coffee was freshly brewed but way too weak for us.
All the food was really tasty- large portions, we were all very satisfied.
There’s a lot of alcohol in the food which I avoid, they only have beer battered fries & fish unfortunately and sherry in the soup, it really pared down my choices.
There was no unbreaded fish and I didn’t fancy shrimp so I got steak tacos which were delicious.
They also had Poké bowls on offer and some beautiful looking tuna to go back for.
The coleslaw was very sweet which I dislike but fresh & well dressed.
The Philly cheesesteak was enormous.
Our friends had really good sized juicy looking chicken wings, cheese curds, fish and chips, onion strings and enjoyed it all.
We look forward to going back and trying more things.

Sat in the patio at the bar! Such great weather and Tina kept the drinks fresh! I recommend the Porch Punch and Carolina Hurricane if you like rum.
The steak and potatoes came out exactly prepare to medium rare and were SO.
TASTY.
I enjoyed sitting in front of the fan and watching the game on both of the big TV's.
Glad I visited here while visiting Raleigh! Sent photos to all my friends!
