This cafe Rio is in a fantastic location in Reston right on Elden street.Let me start by saying that the restroom is very clean, which to me makes all the difference. The food pleasing and fulfilling.Great customer service that took note on my kids allergies and cooked his quesadilla carefully do as to not kill him.The tortilla soup was as usual exquisite and just perfectly consumed while watching the rain pour down outside. The place is modern, clean and quiet.Personally, I would select a different music channel but it wasn't obnoxious.

We're so glad we impressed you, Joana! Thank you for the feedback. We're looking forward to your next visit! 😋
I decided to eat lunch in Herndon off of Elden Street at the Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. The Cafe Rio Mexican Grill is in the Herndon Center shopping center at the front of the street before entering the shopping center.Upon entering I found it a little confusing where I was going to order my food, but with the help of the associate I was directed to the right side of the restaurant where I would order my food.I wanted the Taco platter with the Carne asada, lettuce, Pico Del Gallo, rice and black brags on the side.It was presented to me in an aluminum tray in case I wanted to eat out and not dine in.But as usual I like to dine in to get the full experience and observe other patrons expressions while eating in.The food was okay.I had issues with the black beans being soaked,I weighs of preferred them a little dryer because it turned the rice into soup. The taste of the tacos were good although I didn't ask for hot sauce, the taste was solid.Overall a good place to eat, but very expensive. When I went online, the same order was half the cost, which I found strange. So be prepared to spend your dollars here if you come with a friend or family.

It looks like we hit the mark with our fresh ingredients and declaration of deliciousness, Rafael! We will share those stars with our team!
Worst ever, is almost 1pm and they are not even 100% ready with everything in the menu.Portion sizes are worst than chipotle, is like if they are getting pay to give less and less everyday.Workers worry more about talking to each other than actually getting their job done.Cafe rio used to be great but without a management this restaurant is going down.
