Burger King

This particular Burger King has undergone some impressive upgrade changes within the past few years.
What used to be animal bouncy rides is now a place to park bicycles, to the left of the front entrance door.
There is now 2 drive thru entrances VS just 1, must be in the left lane of Social Street to gain access.
The back parking lot does have a few spaces with signage specifically for Burger King customers.
There is handicapped parking spaces available as well.
Indoor seating has been upgraded to more of a pleasant dining experience.
The employees are much more pleasant now, compared to the ones that used to work there pre-Covid.
Today, I treated myself to a $5 classic cheeseburger meal .
The food tasted just as good as I remember it to be 😋😋😋 BK's new soda dispenser is something I first saw inside eating establishments in northeast Tennessee

I've had nothing but bad experiences with this location: long wait times, food missing, incorrect items, etc.
I decided to give it yet another try. The cashier was nice but that's where the good stopped. We waited so long we decided to change our dine in to take out, upon walking up to the counter we're told they couldn't find our order and they needed to look at the receipt, turns out they actually hadn't started cooking it! The customer after us had his one (1) sandwich remade 3 TIMES because the cooks weren't listening or caring what the manager was yelling about the custom made burger (just extra onions). It was complete chaos but definitely the last time we're coming to this location. Even better, get home- some food must have been sitting so cold while others were hot, chicken fries were gross (some soggy, some rock hard), fries had salt (despite asking 2-3 times for no salt), food was slapped together and thrown into the bag.

This BK has undergone a transformation since the last time I've visited, roughly 3 years ago 😳 the dining room looks a lot fancier than I remember it to be, as does the entryway to the restrooms.
There's now a neon sign saying 'have it your way' hanging on the wall.
The soda dispenser is now the same technology ones I have seen in TN 😳 even the staff was much more pleasant to interact with than the ones I remember 3 years back 😳 Kudos to BK for a job well done 👏
