I started going here 50+ years ago.The BEST fried fish I've ever had.Ridiculously large portions. My wife and I order an order of fish n chips with an additional filet....and we still bring some home.Their fried clams..whole bellies, are fabulous, and again, portions are huge.
Definitely the most British 'chippy' experience so far since living here.Well worth the 30 mile drive from where we live in MA.Malt vinegar is on the tables and also available in 'to go' sachets.Just wish there was the option of curry sauce or mushy peas as a side.Also would have loved some bread and butter to make a chip butty.The portions were generous.I realized too late that I could have ordered a smaller portion but the pups enjoyed some delicious fish supper when we got home.We will come again!
Whole clam plate came with a small portion of clams, fries actually dripping in grease, no tarter sauce, and no coleslaw (after she specifically said it comes with it).Chicken wasn’t great but wasn’t expensive.Don’t waste $35 on five clams! Like I just did
