I am in shock at the horrible way guests in wheelchairs are treated.
We were a big group of 11 getting together to celebrate a special occasion that should have been lighthearted and fun while eating and competing in trivia.
Our night was ruined by Jordan, the 'manager'.
The trivia area has high top tables which cannot accommodate someone in a wheelchair.
There were low top tables on the other side of the bar, AND there was a low top table maybe five feet behind the high top tables.
Jordan refused to allow us to move any of the tables because of a "golf game".
No one was using these tables - they were empty!! His idea was to move us to the complete other side of the restaurant where there were low top tables.
He only offered this idea after trivia had already started.
We had brought this up at least twenty minutes before trivia began. He had no reason or explanation besides "I just work here." Unbelievable. I have a video of this last interaction.
My review includes photos of Jordan who you can see by his body language does not care about this situation at all. Your business lost out on a lot of money, we came to drink and celebrate and tip well.
ADA compliance is important and matters and this IS a big legal issue. Mika, our server was very sweet and tried to help.
She served our drinks before we left, and her service was excellent.

Catherine, thank you for your review and feedback, over the past 16 years we learned that there is always room to improve.
We apologize that your evening did not go the way you intended, and our GM and I spent the last couple of hours going through video and two statements from other customers that were present.
We only have those statements because Jordan asked them if they would give their feedback as they were present for this situation, and he felt uncomfortable after the threats. Our dance floor area is a high-top area as you can see that is the whole design as we pull our seating out for a lot of evening events.
The table you wanted to move from the golf game has a big note on it stating for golf only which is why the sign is on the table and no seats, so that they may also have a place to set their drinks.
Also, he would have had to ask others to move their tables and reorganize that side when it was already packed even though a some in your party stated it was empty, again from cameras.
Jordan offered to accommodate your group on our east side where there are ample low tops, 14 TVs for your viewing, sound, and typically our more popular area unless live music is going.
Apparently, you missed question 1 because he did not switch over quick enough as he was dealing with another customer’s situation and for that we are truly sorry.
We do not allow furniture to be moved as we want to make sure our aisles, walking area, and seating are separated appropriately.
We also don't put a low top in the middle of a bunch of high tops as common sense would dictate the view is not the greatest and would lessen the experience and would prove to be uncomfortable for all involved.
. The picture, video, etc.
was taken after everything escalated and threats of suing him and the establishment, he was not 100% aware of the standards in place.
I have coached him that regardless of circumstances we do not take this approach, and his body language is UNACCEPTABLE.
Regardless of circumstance we must hold ourselves to a higher standard.
This is from camera viewing, customer statements, and talking with both staff members.
As Mika told us, he sent her out as he was trying to get the trivia host taken care of before coming over. ADA is a tremendous asset not only for our country but for small business and providing outline on proper setup, such as min of 5% of seating must be ADA compliant and if you go through your videos, you will see indoors only, we are triple that as we always want to make sure clientele is comfortable and plenty of room for all.
Also to provide an equitable experience whenever possible, we have the same sound available throughout, same viewing throughout, and service throughout.
This is also why there are no moving tables to keep our walkways compliant for both ADA and fire code.
We haven’t run into an issue throughout 15 years at this location and sorry if we did not meet your expectations but please know as a Vet who has many brothers/sisters that ADA is a part of their daily lives this is not something we take lightly. Based on the five reviews from your group and constant mentioning of ADA and legal issues I can ascertain that threats were made as they are being insinuated here, I respect frustration, and I understand we will fail at times, but we will never disrespect or threaten anyone as we feel it is unprofessional and no one deserves to be treated that way.
We are sorry we lost your business last night and respect your decision, I apologize for coming up short in your expectation and celebration/trivia.
Please feel free to reach out if we can be of any further assistance or answer any other questions.
Again, thank you for your time

I'm giving 3 stars for my first experience here.
I was there early to eat before dance lessons.
The poor girl serving my table could not explain how my ticket had gotten "lost ".
I asked for the manager.
When the manager came to my table, he offered no explanation.
He did offer to pay for what I had ordered but didn't ask what had been ordered for the kitchen.
Dance lessons were already in progress when my food arrived.
My food was a disappointment when I got to it.
Such a long drive for a failed experience.

Tried Brookside for Trivia night, we got there an hour early to hold a table for our party of eleven.
ALL the tables on the trivia side were high tops.
One of our guests is wheelchair bound.
The bartender was in charge tonight and refused to allow any tables to be moved.
One would’ve moved a couple yards and not interfered with anyone but he said it was for the video game.
He refused to come speak to us and forced our sweet attentive waitress to be the middleman.
He eventually offered a table on the opposite side of the bar with one tv and zero speakers…this would not have been an equitable experience.
When asked if he understood that ADA laws exist to protect people with disabilities the bartender faked a yawn and rolled his eyes.
I really hope this guy learns to be empathetic and we will certainly not come to an establishment that treats guests with disabilities so poorly.
In addition to treating us so bad he cost his waitress a big tip on an eleven party table.
