Restaurant, Bar & grill
Came in on a Tuesday afternoon. Not crowded of course was seated quickly and was allowed to bring my dog in and was quickly offered a bowl of water for her. And it’s really Nice how the staff waits outside entrance for people to come up and be seated quickly
We walked in and were pleasantly greeted. After a short wait we were seated in a festive room with prompt friendly service. Our food came quickly and was delightful.
I guess nowadays one can never just go in to a restaurant by the look without checking their credibility somehow and expect it to be good… I get it, it’s a tour spot, environment is nice, that does justify higher costs. But the food quality needs to match with that cost as well.We got hungry, went in, got a few sandwiches and burgers and some sides. The Philly cheese was a mere pass.Meat and toppings and cheese and seasoning were ok, bread was bad.Fries and sweet potato fries were super greasy yet undercooked, which cost $4.5 as add on per side (super small portions too).Brisket sandwich was just not good… tasteless meat, hard and cold and old tasting coated deep fried onions/shallots that hurts my gum when chewing, big pile of BBQ sauce and the same old bread..Burger was not even better than Burger King in terms of the price performance ratio lol….All in all another unpleasant surprise dining experience in the middle of a tour spot…
