Bono's Italian Restaurant

Tasty, authentic Italian good - and make sure to get the white chocolate dreamsicle cake for dessert! My daughter and I stopped in here on a Wednesday in July 2024.
The service was great and we both really enjoyed our meals as well as the reasonable pricing.
I opted for spaghetti with one large meatball and my daughter enjoyed her pizza. A large group came in just after we ordered so our server was pulled away to tend to them but another server jumped in and took care of us the rest of the meal, so it all worked out well. This is definitely a great spot to visit if you're looking for a good, local, Italian spot.

Bono's Italian Restaurant might not immediately catch your eye, but don't judge a book by its cover.
Despite its unassuming appearance and sparse crowd, the food here is a decent surprise.As a group of seven, we savored a variety of dishes, with the standout being the Chicken Scampi Pizza, which impressed us with its flavorful toppings.
Each dish, whether it was the Fettuccine Alfredo, Gnocchi, or Seafood Ravioli, boasted rustic flavors and generous portions.Despite its unpretentious setting, dining at Bono's felt like stumbling upon a hidden treasure.
With its hearty portions and delicious fare, we left feeling pleasantly stuffed and satisfied, already planning our next visit.

My hubby used to eat here for lunch when he worked in the area 20 years ago.
It was his favorite & became one of mine also.
We were driving back through the area & decided to have a yummy nostalgic lunch.
It was Monday so they had their pasta dishes/entree's for only $12! My hubby decided on the lasagna & he thought it was so delicious and he's a lasagna connesseur.
We were in Italy last year and he said it was right up there with what he enjoyed there.
We also shared a side Greek salad with their homemade vinaigrette & it was a nice size & so yummy.
I chose the calzone with meatballs & extra ricotta & it was the best calzone I've ever had.
Of course the calzone was what we used to always enjoy 20 years ago.
Still the same delicious recipes with fresh ingredients!! We had a super sweet server who treated us so well! The only negative I would say is that it needs a little updating on decor & atmosphere.
But, you go for the delicious food so not a big deal.
