Blakes Restaurant offers a cozy escape in Liverpool, particularly for a delightful brunch. I savored the full English breakfast, where the perfectly cooked eggs and sausages hit the spot! The tea selection is impressive, making it hard to choose just one.

While service was mostly friendly, some staff appeared a bit unsure of their roles. The atmosphere could certainly use more vibrancy; on my visit, it felt a tad quiet. Overall, a solid option for a casual meal, just a touch lacking in character... 🍳
