Black Bear Diner Brownsville

This was our first visit to this restaurant.
After a short wait, our party of 6 was seated in a booth but was given the option of a round table.
Everyone placed their order and waited a reasonable amount of time for fresh food.
Everything looked good; one order was incorrect, but was made right with no issues.
All plates were delicious and satisfying.
On the way out, I spotted something interesting looking & asked the guest-- it was a cornbread muffin.
Now we have to go back!

Black Bear Diner is a fantastic spot for breakfast! Their biscuits are absolutely delicious, and the omelettes are consistently amazing.
Highly recommend for a hearty, satisfying meal.

First time trying Black Bear Diner.
The best way to describe it would be like a mix of Denny's and Cracker Barrel.
They have a lot of options on the menu, and they serve breakfast all day.
I had the western burger, which had bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, and onion rings, and it came with fries.
It was pretty goodand the portion was very generous.
My wife had the 2x2x2.
Two eggs, two bacon, and two French toast.
It was also pretty good.
My son had the Bigfoot, which is a chicken fried steak.
It was another large portion.
Everything was good, but nothing was exceptional.
I would go back but not on the top of my list of places I would choose.
However, they did have these delicious little pies.
I had a chocolate creme pie that was enough for two people to share.
They had several other options I look forward to trying.
The store was clean and the staff was friendly so that is a bonus.
