Worst experience ever.My friend and I brought our other friend here because she is visiting from San Diego.I used to come here all the time as a kid and this experience ruined it for me.The server taking our order couldn't tell us anything about the food on the menu, she clearly had no idea what she was doing. My friends and I loved the Bible verses everywhere and the Christian music playing in the restaurant and we love the BJs on Cedar so I felt bad leaving this review but it was really that horrible.I had to ask 3 times for my side of bacon that came out after it had eaten and it was burnt and looked very old like it was sitting out.My friend and I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were over cooked and she waited 15 minutes for new eggs while the rest of us were eating.I didn't want to wait so I ate the eggs anyways. While all this was happening we had to walk to the counter to point out the mistakes because our server was sitting at the bar top eating food while on her phone. We thought maybe she was off, but later on she cashed us out and was taking other tables, so she was still on the clock. After all of that I got charged $48 for one Benedict with a couple add ons and a side of old bacon I had to basically beg for. They charged me for two Benedict's instead of one and had to redo the transaction.I think the server's name was Marlyn or something with an M and she had bangs. The other server tried to be helpful and fix our server's mistakes and I'm grateful for her but it was really just one thing after another. We are all servers so we are usually very understanding of little mistakes and misunderstandings and we are always big tippers because we know how being a server is.But my friend had a really bad time so we really couldn't bring ourselves to leaving anything. When we got home, my friend that we took who's visiting us felt sick and THREW UP her hamburger omelet she had.We are never coming back and telling everyone to STAY AWAY.
This is a place that's GREAT for families or a romantic night out! I have been waiting 6 years to be able to get their delicious food, and see their AWESOME crew.I'm glad I can be a regular here again. If you're in Fresno, and need some homestyle cooking, THIS is the place to be!
We used to dine here a lot but it is horrible now.I wouldn’t be back..prices on line menu showed $5 less then what they really are in-house.Scrambled eggs were cold, had to send back.My friend had pancake they weren’t cooked inside.Waitress exchanged it for toast that she brought after the bill.Service was terrible.I asked her if she could take something off the bill and she didn’t even have courtesy to answer.COFFEE IS $4 and it was old tasting.NEVER AGAIN.Oh and I asked for crispy hash browns and they where black instead of crispy.
