Bird and the Bottle is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Let's talk about those sliders – they are nothing short of sensational! Each bite bursts with flavor, leaving you craving more.Pairing them with a glass of their exquisite wine selection elevated the experience to new heights. Also enjoyed the guacamole as an appetizer and carrot cake for dessert. Now, let's not forget about the impeccable service. The staff at Bird and the Bottle are true professionals, attentive to every detail without being overbearing. They made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. As for the atmosphere, it's a perfect blend of cozy and chic, with just the right amount of buzz in the air. However, I must mention one tiny nitpick – there was one photograph that didn't quite resonate with the rest of the decor. But honestly, it's such a minor detail in an otherwise flawless setting. In summary, Bird and the Bottle is a culinary haven where every aspect, from the sliders to the service, shines brightly. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. We can't wait to return!
Was able to get a reservation on a Monday on the same day.Such a quaint restaurant in a cute house! We were seated upstairs, which was nice because the main/first floor was a little loud.We got the charred edamame, smokey poke, fried chicken sliders, crispy duck confit tacos (not pictured), and Korean fried mushrooms with an Eternal (non-alcoholic).The charred edamame was good but kind of messy, the poke was served room temp and I would have preferred it cold. The fried chicken sliders were delicious but the piece was chicken was a little small. The Korean fried mushrooms were battered, which was not expected. And the duck tacos were the best but very messy. The eternal was a great drink! Highly recommend this place - their menu is well crafted.
Came here while driving back to the bay after a wonderful trip to Mendocino.I saw all the going reviews and was really excited to try something new in the area as it sounds like this is one of the finest establishments here in Santa Rosa. Unfortunately, I was super disappointed, almost every single menu item is battered and fried. We ordered three dishes. They all tasted the exact same for some reason. The only condiment they seem to use here is either butter or mustard. On top of that the prices are outrageous. They call it family style, but it is barely enough for two people, however calorically dense enough for a party of 10. This is a supremely greedy establishment. They charged us $7 for soda.It tasted like bathwater and cinnamon claiming it was Diet Coke. Outdoor seating directly faces a busy loud road could not believe how many people were sitting out there Save your harder money and go elsewhere unless you have the palate of a child. Nauseously yours, Zac
