Barley House is an absolute gem in Akron! 🌟 The casual yet trendy vibe makes it perfect for a laid-back lunch or a lively dinner. I indulged in their savory Irish nachos paired with a crisp pint of local craft beer - both were spot on!

Close to the Rubber Ducks Stadium, good food, good prices.
I recommend the fried pickles and French fries.
They have kids' meals that are great.

I had a mixed experience.
On the positive side, the burger I ordered was delicious, and the service was excellent.
The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. However, we went during trivia night, and it was incredibly loud. Overall, if you’re looking for good food and great service, Barley House is a solid choice.

The only thing good about our visit was the food when we finally got it.
Took almost an hour for our food to come out.
We were here between lunch and dinner on a Saturday before a Rubber Ducks game.
They were steady, but not slammed.
Was told that the kitchen lost the ticket...? Was only asked once if we wanted a refill on our drinks.
Server was mainly MIA chatting with co-workers more than taking care of their tables.
Don't plan on going back any time soon.

Stopped after a fun afternoon at the children’s museum.
Kids were hungry so we figured why not since it was close.
We were seated by the hostess and waited.
Then waited some more.
After almost 20 min with no one coming to even get our drinks we up and left.
There were 4 other tables in our section and no server came to any of them as well.
How incredibly disappointing service.
