I really enjoyed the food in Baan Yaai and would recommend it to others. The papaya/shrimp salad was refreshing and tasty with a hint of spice, although I didn’t think that the shrimp was actually grilled (really liked it regardless!) I also loved the Pad See Ew with tofu. Both portions were big and the service was lovely. The only reason I didn’t order a dessert was because I was too full! P.s.the pictures don’t do it justice!
Came here with my daughter and her friends.Great service and tasty food .We ordered Thai tea, spring rolls, Tom yum soup (very yummy), fried rice and more.Overall had a good time
Cozy, petite Thai eatery on Lombard, designed to evoke a manicured side street in Bangkok. Tom Kha Soup, a coconut milk broth wonderfully fragrant from lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, galangal and chili — perfect with a side of rice noodles dipped in. While tasty, the price point seems to reflect more the neighborhood than the kitchen’s unique ability.Nothing far from the classic standard.
