If you don’t want to read this, just know That I highly recommend it. Firstly, I love the aesthetics of place.
Brick walls, quaint feeling, and cozy- plus you’re always near the bar.
I asked the waiter for a virgin Cosmopolitan and I’m not sure if he was describing the drink or offering me something else fruit related, but whatever it was- Cosmopolitan or not, it was great, and the waiter made sure to confirm that I enjoyed it.
Also, the cut of meat I got when I ordered the “Butcher’s cut” or whatever was great.
It was lean and tender and cooked 90% perfectly.
Good food.
And out waiter had worker here for 9 years: impressive.

Exceptional.
This bistro has wonderful food selections which they update frequently.
Service was impeccable and great ambiance.
We had many very good meals in Paris but I must say that the Au Bois Doree was our favourite.
Highly recommended

This was a delightful restaurant with very friendly wait staff and delicious food.
I had the best calamari and pistachio ice cream of my life here (and I am not young).
Highly recommend!
