Applebee's Grill + Bar

Update: Management reached out immediately and immediately made it right.
Management apologized for my experience and I felt they were sincere.
I hope no one else experience what I went thru and have a wonderful experience when visiting this restaurant.
I am going to up my review to a 3 because of management. I had the worst experience at this Applebee's today.
I have sent an email so that it reaches the GM.
The server was awesome so I can't include her.
But the host, the table we sat and the beverage situation are my rant.
I end up getting my food to go.
Got home and the sauce was not plentiful on the pasta, very dry.
Some of the meat was hard so I wasn't able to eat it.
They had no soda and the server would not sit us in the area we asked because she had just sat someone prior to us.
We had to sit next to another couple even though there were seats throughout the restaurant that were available.
I do fully understand the process of the servers and letting servers rotate for tips but to tell me no and then say our server was "fun" wasn't what I wanted to hear.
We were out celebrating something special and didn't want the people next to us hearing our conversation.
The people in the section we wanted to sit were not closely seated.
I was very disappointed.
The entire process ruined what was set out to be a great and fun evening.
We end up coming home to eat instead of continuing our plans.

I rarely go to Applebees unless there was no other option, but I went in around 11:30pm on a Friday night.
While it was busy, I was helped pretty quickly by the hostess and server Kamie. Kamie was very nice and courteous on making sure my order was accurate.
Even exchanged a great short conversation on language exchange and heritage. The Wonton Tacos was really good.
Probably the best appetizer on the menu.
4 Cheese pasta is also a solid choice although I'm never getting the pretzel again.

We had Boneless Wings for our appetizer. I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken with Tortilla Chip pieces and Spanish Rice I had a Strawberry Lemonade to drink
