September 23, 2024Ameca La Taqueria offers a delightful dive into authentic Mexican flavors! 🌮 The ambiance is casual and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a long day. I tried their carne asada tacos, and they were bursting with flavor - paired perfectly with fresh cilantro and onions. The kids enjoyed their meals too, especially the quesadillas off the kid's menu!
Parking was a breeze, and the wheelchair accessibility is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a quick bite or a relaxed dinner, Ameca is the place to be! Will definitely return for more...!
My husband discovered this hidden gem right down the road from our house.Love the atmosphere and the staff was super nice. The Mexican coke is really good, and the guacamole was perfect with their homemade tortilla chips. Our food was very good, huge portions! One of the only Mexican restaurants I've been to that has fluffy rice that isn't dry.Highly recommend!
For $15 for a burrito, we expect correct orders especially when it comes to food allergies. We ordered on Door Dash and were specific with just adding beans instead of meat to a burrito and they ignored this to add cooked carrots, bell peppers, onions, etc. This isn’t good or delicious. It’s gross. Not to mention, the food allergy we were trying to avoid. We also said “extra beans” and there was not a single bean on that poor neglected burrito. This may just be an Ohio specific thing but any time at most Mexican restaurants we’ve been to out here, including this one, they see “no meat” they add cooked carrots, bell peppers, etc to the burrito. There’s no protein because there’s this weird anti-bean agenda and it’s just not good at all not to mention, again, food allergies we were specifically trying to avoid and why we were specific with order instructions that got blatantly ignored.Veggie burritos should be rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, and onion inside the burrito. This is how it is in California. This gives a complete protein instead of this weird wanna-be salad thing. If the beans are cooked in lard, just state that to the customer and ask if that’s okay please. But this burrito was a massive disappointment and just makes me pine for Cali Mexican food that much more.
Jose is super kind, and his wife fixes an awesome plate of food. They moved here from Mexico, and make everything in house, it’s affordable and good! Since we moved up here from Texas we have been missing good Mexican food, this definitely satisfied our cravings!
