Perfect place to grab a bite after the eclipse! 😉 The food here is on par with those found in an upscale New York city restaurant with a competitive price! The presentation, ambiance, service and quality of the food is just incredible. The style of food is modern Indian fusion tailored to the western taste profile, so this is a perfect way to be introduced to all the amazing spices and flavors that Indian cuisine has to offer.Tbh there is no wrong option here, and the tapas style of foods are designed for you to try it all!
The atmosphere and the service were great, but the food was lacking flavor. We were expecting several of the dishes to have more spice, as we have tried them in other places serving Indian food, but it was like the food was toned down for the Western palate. The food wasn’t bad, but we just wished that it would have had a little more spice to it.The clay bread, herb raita, and crispy puris were great and everything was well valued.Overall, it is a good place for sharable plates (which are not very small and pretty large).
Chic atmosphere and great service here, even at the bar.We came during peak dinner hours on a Saturday evening and would have had a 60-90 min wait, but got a seat at the bar much quicker.Bartender was fantastic and attentive with taking orders and refilling drinks. The menu is great, lots of variety and creatively fashioned Indian dishes which are well done.We ordered 6 items between 2 of us and had food to spare, the plates are fuller than typical small plates. The food was very well done but some of the dishes were a bit lacking in some flavors and just didn't quite hit the spot.Being an Indian I would prefer some of those at an authentic rather than modern fusion restaurant.Others items were very tasty in the modern way they were fashioned.Overall would go back but probably not fully worth a 90 min wait.
