Romantic Italian restaurant with a colorful vibe giving you a flavor of Italy on the little italy district of San Diego.
Hand made pasta to die for, and if you are looking for classic Italian food or delicacies recommend this location.
Patio seating available and a full robust wine list.
The grilled octopus reminded me of Spain actually and was some of the best I have had.

Came in for dinner to try their Italian dining experience menu.
You get an appetizer, entree, and dessert for around $38.
What a deal! And it was a lot of food too. My friend really liked her Espresso martini. Their enclosed outdoor patio was really cute and warm with the patio heaters on.
I suggest sitting there rather than inside as it feels more special.

Allegro? More like Depresso. Just wanna start by saying the wait staff is very nice and friendly.
So nothing against them. BUT the food was so bland.
I got the Paccheri pasta - sausage and spicy tomato sauce.
My fiancée got the Gnocchi with the cream sauce with black pepper.
Both of our plates were so tasteless.
The sauce - bland.
Even the sausage was bland.
Neither of us finished our plates.
It was so disappointing because the food actually looked good upon arriving. The fries were alright.
Nothing special.
But for the price we paid for everything - this was an even bigger let down. The bread we got while we waited was so stale.
It was like eating sand.
Whenever we picked a piece up it just broke off and disintegrated. I honestly don't know how this restaurant has such a good rating on here.
Chef Gordon Ramsay should come here and do a Kitchen Nightmares because based on the food, it seemed like the kitchen staff doesn't care. I knew this wasn't going to be good once I saw there was Balsamic drizzle on the edge of our plates.
Whoever cooked our food was more interested in the appearance than the actual taste. I mean does anyone taste what they send out?
