Amazing service.
Our server was great.
She was warm, attentive, but not crowding in any way.
Engaging and genuine.
We were also checked on twice by other team members.
The cooks are nice and aware…you can wave high through the cool kitchen cut through.
The menu is not expansive, but seems to cover all the bases nicely.
We got the salmon with veg and mashed potatoes (delicious and healthy!), fish and chips, cheese burger, and pasta.
All were hits with those who ordered.
There is a happy hour weekdays 3-6pm with special drinks and food pricing.
There is also a seasonal menu add on.
We ordered the blackened shrimp tacos off there, and they were great.
Drinks were solid.
The outdoor patio is dog friendly, and very pleasant.
The indoor has a bar, band and fun feel.
Plenty of parking in the public lot just east of the restaurant.
Montrose is always fun!

So happy to have this corner cafe in Montrose.
I've enjoyed dinners, drinks, lunch & breakfast here.
It has been delicious every time.
I recently brought my husband for breakfast & it's his new favorite spot.
I had the steak & eggs - the sauce on the steak was soooo good.
The Cinnamon French Toast was well worth the carbs.
The coffee was roast toasty perfect!

This is a restaurant with great atmosphere! Everyone makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door! They have great food, daily happy hour, and a wonderful Saturday and Sunday champagne brunch.
If you're looking for something really eclectic in the La Crescenta, Montrose, La Cañada area, Ocean View Grill and Bar is perfect for you! Also included in this great restaurant is the introduction of local talent and great jazz artists from around the southland.
You should not miss the opportunity to visit this great spot!
