Friendly counter service.
I ordered the chicken soup.
The chicken was tender and plentiful in a soup perfectly seasoned.
I enjoyed the meal and felt good after eating.
The music is modern pop above medium volume here.
That's okay, just be aware, that is the ambience.
They have a great coffee machine here, they can make all kinds.
I enjoyed one.

My first visit was a few weeks ago.
The staff was really nice.
The Picadillo was the best I've had anywhere, and I've had it at several restaurants in the past.
The meal put a smile on my face and warmed my soul.
The side salad was really flavorful.
The coffee was good.I will definitely return to try other items.
This place might become my favorite restaurant since relocating back to Jacksonville.

One of my best friends came in town and asked me if I wanted to go to lunch.
We went to 1928 Bistro.
Admittedly, this was my first time ever eating a Cuban sandwich so I really didn't know what to expect.
The flavor combination was something I can't really put into words, but it It was pretty good.
I only ate half and took the rest to go.
The meat tender and the bread was good as well.
I can't 100% say that it's something I'd be anxious to order again.
Maybe I'll try Cubans from other restaurants just so I have something to compare it to.
