Overall very good experience.The atmosphere was very nice and well done.Table setting was fancy.No specific dress attire required as some people were dressed up and some came in T-shirts.Sat indoors however they do offer seating on the patio and they even have mister fans during summer.The service was decent and friendly.Ordered the table biscuits which comes with a blueberry jam.Biscuits were great and I recommend.Seemed that most everyone around us ordered these.Also ordered the New York strip which was cooked to perfection and a generous portion.It is a $70 steak so it should be top tier.I don’t think it was worth $70 but this is a higher end restaurant.
I was a guest at a birthday celebration. To start, I had a watermelon and blueberry mojito.It was recommended by our server, Mike.I then ordered the Southern Casprese, which is fried pimento cheese served with green tomatoes and a Basil peach jam that tasted more like apple sauce.Other guests ordered appetizers as well.The appetizers came out we shared and had laughs.It seemed as though Mike was busy, and we were ready to order our main course. It took him a minute to get back to us.However, because we were having such a good time, I didn't deduct a star for service.When he did start taking our order, I ordered the salmon and fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Let me say this to be fair.This restaurant has local Georgia suppliers.Therefore, the menu listing is limited and portion sizes and not generous but enough to fill you up.They make a lot of their own sauces.The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky, and juicy.It was topped with a lemony dill sauce, which was delicious. The fingerling potatoes and asparagus were seasoned perfectly.Hats off to the chef.I had a wonderful time.Would I return? The answer is yes but only on special occasions because it is pricy but the well seasoned food out shined the price.Would I recommend this restaurant to family and friends? Yes, I would, but I would be open and honest about the portion sizes and the price and the reasoning behind those critique.😁
The best culinary experience I’ve had stateside in a long time! The focus on flavor is second to none! I’m very impressed also with the people who work there and the pride they take..from the chef coming to check on us, to the wait staff’s amazing personalities.I recommend everyone check this awesome place out!
