I loved the old Louisiana vibez here! Staff is very hospitable and nice.
its a buffet line type place and the guy serving gave me a good suggestion of the seafood creole.
it was very good.
but the sides were mid to me.
And the bread pudding i was looking forward to the most was out by the time i got there to eat at 12 :/ Its okay tho! Next time I def wanna try the fried chicken or poboy.
Prices are very good for seafood.

I feel like I’m in a diner in Nola every time I come to Zydeco.
Every day has its own specials.

I came here for lunch after coworkers ranted and raved about their food and welcoming atmosphere.
After checking out the lunch menu prices, there was no way I was paying $11 for 2 pieces of fried chicken. But boy was I mistaken… the fried chicken and juicy, full of flavor and moist.
But it doesn’t stop there.
You get 2 sides (I picked red beans/rice, flavorful green beans) & corn bread (regular or jalapeño).
$11 is really a great deal considering all the food they give you.
The rice and gravy is also super amazing.
I didn’t have to put salt/pepper or Tony’s on anything! I’ll definitely make a return visit at least twice a month, maybe more.
The vibe is super old school with tons of office employees that walked from their respective buildings.
5 stars!!
