Let me say, we are not really seafood people.
So our review may have bias because of this.
The staff are friendly & attentive.
Could have refilled drinks a little more often but service became fairly busy.
The food was ok.
The shrimp was a bit small for grits & lacked some flavor.
The fries were slightly undercooked.
You can tell shrimp was frozen, not fresh.
But not a terrible experience.
The fried tomatoes were pretty decent with lemon & crawfish sauce.

Ordered shrimp and scallops, scallops were a little chewy.
Our server was very nice and she did check on us , refills on drinks was slower than normal.
One of our friends got the bacon wrapped shrimp and he really enjoyed it.

We went during the lunch hour on a Thursday, and it wasn't crowded as it usually is (school just started).
So I was grateful.
Let me just say those fish tacos will have me going back for the next round.
I wish they gave me more than two.
I would've eaten four of them (lol).
This plate usually comes with fries, but I didn't have a taste for fries that day even though the fries looked thick and delicious.
The fried okra could've been fried harder, but that's a personal preference.
I know some people prefer otherwise.
And the red beans and rice were mmm mmm good.
I kept dipping my tacos in the dip that came with the onion rings.
OMG the onion rings and the fried green tomatoes were a HIT also.
The tomatoes had a crawfish dip that was delicious, and I don't eat crawfish at all.
Sorry I didn't get pics of the tomatoes cause I was starving when they came out - not because they took so long - they were really quick about bringing our food and no it didnt taste pre-cooked at all - I just hadn't eaten all that morning.
But my goodness everything was hot and fresh (in the words of Dora's backpack) "mmm delicioso!!!! 12/10 (wouldve been higher for the okra and two additional tacos (lol)!
