DECEMBER 2, 2023 THEY DELETED MY PREVIOUS POST!! Beyond disappointing and disgusted with the fact they are trying to hide that they served this to a pregnant woman! They are taking 0 accountability and No apologies were given to me in person for a refund! Shame on the employee Ana and the Bold guy with glasses! They both seemed to find this funny that I consumed food that had a fly in it!
My recent foray into the drive-thru of Wienerschnitzel at the Five Points enclave on McHenry Ave beckons a nuanced evaluation, culminating in a restrained rating of 3 stars. The tempo of the culinary ballet orchestrated within the hallowed hallway kitchen of Wienerschnitzel was, regrettably, a discordant note in an otherwise promising symphony. The languid pace of food production, akin to the measured tempo of a nostalgic waltz, left a discerning patron yearning for a more expeditious and harmonious ballet of flavors. Amidst this culinary sonnet, a singular ray of brilliance emerged – the chili dogs.An ode to gastronomic delight, transcending the mundane, offering a soliloquy that momentarily elevate the whole sloppy glizzy experience. The chili is always good. From the mothership, surely. Yet, in the red roofed swiss-house's refinement, the maestros behind Wienerschnitzel must not lose sight of the broader operatic landscape. The specter of recently shuttered A&W and the erstwhile Wienerschnitzel on Carpenter Road casts a looming shadow, a requiem for establishments that failed to dance to the tempo of progress. The artistry of roasting a glizzy, like a delicate soufflé, demands precision and alacrity. In this regard, this Wienerschnitzel finds itself at a crossroads, where the measured cadence of my local microwave's prowess threatens to outshine the languorous grace of the drive-thru experience. In parting, as I thumb out this critique, I implore the artisans and the management at Wienerschnitzel to heed the whispering winds of change.May this discourse be a symphony of opportune improvements, ensuring that the next dance staged at Five Points is a resplendent ode to the art of epicurean finesse.
