Traditional thin crust tavern cut pizza. High quality ingredients, excellent dough. The sauce is flavorful - a bit sweet, but still balanced. Great crisp, but not all the way through the pie, middle sections soft. Generous cornmeal on the bottom adds to the flavor profile. Overall a very enjoyable pie.
I had to edit this after the second time of trying to call to get a reservation for over an hour nobody answers the phone.We decided to drive up and call along the way .Still nobody answers.So what do you do? You drive up only to find out there's an hour and 15 minute wait and your family is hungry.Somebody answering the phone here would solve a lot of problems. Great thin crust pizza.Reminds me of Barnaby's but not quite as crispy.The pizza was excellent.I had a double pepperoni Pizza .The only problem is keeping it warm all the way home into Illinois .I might have to get a thermal Pizza bag ! This place has been in business for over 100 years.Must be doing something right!
Great thin crust pizza.So good! They have great pasta as well.We loved the antipasto salad! Highly recommend this place for pizza or pasta
