Waffle House

i placed a togo order online tonight (6/17/24) and had my friend pick it up for me.
and it was sooooo freaking good.
everything on my plate was perfect, even the sprite was the best sprite i have ever had.
they didn’t forget any condiments or silverware.
if i had known it would have been this good i would’ve tipped way more than 20%.
i really recommend this location.
best waffle house i have ever had.

I placed a to go order online July 12.
for 4 of us.
Got home, and everything was still hot.
All our orders were put together perfect, with everything exactly what we had ordered.
All our food was so good, everything cooked perfect!

I put in my order for two grand slams tipped 5 bucks , then I get my receipt .
I'm charged a service charge and a to go fee at 2.65 each .
Had I known this I would not had left a tip .
Nothing I seen was posted by a sign that these two charges even existed .
I would call that under handed and stealing 5 1/3 . I won't set foot in another waffle house hopefully they all shut down.
And with practices such as this I see why most of them are shutting down .
The employees was all nice I have not one complaint in that area . To the leadership of the waffle houses everything rises and falls on leadership . And it shows what a poor job the leadership has done , make it known these charges have been applied. And I noticed this charge isn't being applied to all to go orders . I asked others standing there with me waiting on their order , they had not been charged these fees .
Maybe y'all should go into the dying automotive sales . Right up your alley and management style .
Again I will never do business with a waffle house again !
