Waffle House

Food was terrible.
I ordered hash browns and I get a fried sheet of potatoes.
I didn't ask for that.
It was worst than the first order which was steamed hash browns.
Then the waiter wants to debate me about my order when I have been coming to waffle house for 15 years!!!!!!!! YES!!! 15 years!!! She tries to tell me like that's the way it is.
I wouldn't be telling you it's bad if it was not.

Waffle House is just its own little culture! I love that I can get breakfast anytime and it's always delicious.
You may not think of biscuits when you plan to go there, but theirs are great.
Not the typical crumbly kind, but they have a tasty texture all their own.
The service is always good, and a few minutes spent here is just an escape from the real world.

ALERT TIME WASTERS I applied for a position here and was contacted by a recruiter, I passed that interview according to the district managers… I go for another interview after being offered a supervisor position only to be met with what I can only describe as hostility by the manager on shift named Terrence peoples. Terrence asked me my name and my number before going into a spiel about how he had one position for nighttime supervisor available asking me if I would take that I said yes that’s fine and then he wanted to go even lower and asked me if I would be a waitress I explained to him that that’s not what I had applied for nor was that what I was offered, or why I was even at the interview to begin with.
I attempted to explain to Terrence my qualifications at which point he told me that that didn’t matter and begin to do this little weird ego thing where he has a bachelors in engineering and he was in the top of his class so he believes that I don’t have what it takes… I don’t have a degree in engineering I have a degree in sociology and the Managing of people… I held my first management job when I went to the Board of Education to get a workers permit at the age of 14… Needless to say, I waited a month and a half to be told that they’ll give me $2.50 an hour because that’s where everybody starts no matter what your level of education or experience… I do have the entire exchange videotaped.
If you enjoy having your time, wasted by all means apply.
If you enjoy being belittled again, you should apply.
If you wanna make $2.50 an hour plus tips you should apply… lol It’s 2024 If I have a bachelors in sociology and If I can’t look at a group of waitresses and figure out what their operation is, we have a big problem… Because that’s what sociologists do.
