VOLK

VOLK, known for its selection of oysters and fresh seafood, was a wonderful place to enjoy lunch in the heart of Berlin! The atmosphere was upbeat and elegant, with views of the Volkspark am Weinberg park and the famous TV tower to be enjoyed from the restaurant itself.
The owners of the restaurant also take care of service, and they made us feel at home with casual conversation and friendly humor.
They seemed to take a genuine interest in their guests, which elevated our dining experience.
As a vegetarian, I was still able to enjoy delicious food and drinks at the restaurant too! A combination of great location, energetic atmosphere, and quality cuisine, VOLK is a great stop to make in Berlin.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a laid-back yet sophisticated ambiance.
The decor strikes a perfect balance between modest charm and modern elegance, featuring colorful plates, soft lighting, and large windows.
The gentle hum of conversation mixed with the sound of the busy street creates a relaxed, enjoyable vibe that immediately sets the tone for a memorable meal. The oysters here are the star of the show, and rightly so.
Served on a bed of crushed ice, these oysters are accompanied by a delightful selection of condiments, including a zesty mignonette, tangy cocktail sauce, and fresh lemon wedges.
The first taste reveals a perfect marriage of flavors, with the natural sweetness and saltiness of the oysters shining through.
Love it, definitely would come back again!!

Really nice and chill place for excellent seafood! Went for a birthday lunch, and the place was empty so we got to chat with Oliver, and it was fun and delicious.
Will definitely be coming back for more oysters.
