I hadn’t been there in 20 years or more.I saw their ad on social media for a slab dinner special.First they didn’t answer the phone.Second when I got there, I ask for the slab special and was told “ain’t no special.That was the winter special”.So I’m here.I’ll give it a try.Bad choice, the ribs weren’t fresh or tender.Luckily I had the sauce on the side because it was the worst I’ve ever had and I was able to doctor them up with my own.Will not be going back!

Hi OT.We are sorry to hear that your last experience wasn't good.Unfortunately our Winter Specials ended in February (last week).We apologize for the inconvenience and also that you did not care for your meal.Depending on when you arrived, our smoker might not have been however our ribs are always cooked the day of and put in a warming drawer.We would have been happy to give you a replacement if you had returned.Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback, we appreciate it.
Firstly, I never leave reviews but I felt this one needs to be made.Initial impression when calling the older lady that answered the phone was completely rude and hung up on me, giving it a chance We ordered the family dinner for four.While ordering in person the lady continued to be rude.I get the food home we unwrap it and it’s absolutely terrible.I see a lot of people saying best in the D and it’s honestly the worst I’ve ever had.The sauce was terrible which ruined all the meats and the rest was very poor quality.Definitely regret the experience when we were willing to give it a chance.Please save your money.

Hi Lukas.We are sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your meal or service from Vicki’s.Our sauce is vinegar based and our ribs are not the tender ribs you may expect.Our ribs tend to be tougher, however our rib tips are very tender.Thank you.
This is the second time I came to get ribs from y’all in today I got chicken in ribs the chicken was dry as hell the ribs are not clean the right way when my friend first brought me to y’all years ago the foods was delicious now it suck it’s terrible I spent $30 I spent $50.A couple of weeks ago The food is terrible.You guys need to fix it or you won’t be In business much longer with the type of service that you’re putting out The skin needs to be cleaned off the ribs.You might have a better product.The chicken is overcooked.I should know because I am a chef I have been Cooking soulfood For over 20 years

Hi Lucky.We have not had any other complaints about our ribs not being clean or our chicken being dry.We have been in business for 60 years using the same tactics and recipes.If you were unhappy with your meal, we would have been more than happy to give you a replacement or refund if you returned with the food that day.Thank you!
