Simply amazing!!! We made a reservation.
here hoping it would be “close” to our hotel.
It was a good distance.
We are staying close to the airport because of an early morning flight.
As we kept driving, we all wondered if we should turn around.
Thank goodness we did not! The service was excellent.
The house wine is an effervescent white that is delicious.
It is light, fruity and amazing.
It paired perfectly with fish and red meat! We had lamb chops and zucchini frita.
Both were excellent.
My son and I had a spicy pasta, my daughter a bolognese and my husband carbanaro.
All so very delicious.
The last course was charcoal cooked meat.
You cannot go wrong with any selection.
The food was amazing and worth the drive.
Bring bug spray as most dining options are outdoors.
I forgot to mention the bread for the table.
It is pizza shaped but simply dressed with salt and very little olive oil.
It is so delicious and could be a meal unto itself.
The last thing I will mention is the limoncello.
It is house made.
Rumor has it that the alcohol is blessed by the Pope.
I am not questioning that as it was some of the best we had in Italy!! Right before the restaurant is a zoo.
We had no time to visit but I’m sure if you timed it right, you could do both! Buon Appetito!!!

We had a lovely meal whilst holidaying in the area.
It was so good we came back for a second time.
Traditional Italian cuisine in an outdoor setting.

A meat lovers dream come true! About 15 minutes from FCO airport we came across this gem of a place.
Tucked into the trees and tons of seating, this place takes their carne SERIOUSLY.
If you've ever been down south in the U.S., this will remind you of some of the BBQ joints.
I had this Milanese style battered steak that was KILLER.
Worth the drive if you're anywhere near the airport with a little time to kill.
