What was a spur of the moment stop turned into a great lunch. The food was good. The portions were generous and the service was excellent.
I stopped by Uncle Vait's Pizza in Lexington for their Meatloaf Special.The meatloaf with brown gravy had great flavor, and was some of the best I've had in a restaurant.I'm definitely looking forward to having it again soon. The garlic bread was a good, sweet Italian bread.Something else I loved was that instead of getting a side of fries or coleslaw, I was able to choose a side of spaghetti with meat sauce! I also enjoyed the house-made ranch dressing.Courtney was a great server. I also got 2 pizzas to go.One was a thin crust taco pizza for my wife, with toppings on the side (toppings not pictured).The other was a deep dish pizza.Both pizzas were good. And for all this food, the price before tip was around $32, I believe.Incredible.
The pizza was great the waitress we had was very nice & knowing this is on Route 66 is just so cool !!!
