True Food Kitchen

More of an upscale eatery, this place screams Nashville.
They have a scratch kitchen, which is amazing, but plan on a slightly longer wait for this incredible food.
Even the wraps and buns are made in house.
It's hard to order something bad here so therein lies the challenge! We were seated right away to an impeccably clean table with serving utensils I felt like I could do surgery with.
The service was perfect, friendly, and timely.
I started with the roasted brussel sprouts and got the ancient grains bowl and they were full of flavor and organic ingredients.
My wife doesn't do dairy or gluten and they were easily able to accommodate her.
If you're looking for a worry-free meal with fantastic service and a great atmosphere, definitely try this place out, they will not disappoint!

Environmently concerned, sustainably sourced, forward thinking restaurant that offers diners some of the healthiest options of any restaurant chain in America.
They also have a beautiful bar, great hamburgers and brick oven baked pizza.
The interior of the restaurant itself reminds me of a comfortable French country kitchen with outdoor patio dining available.
The servers are engaging although the kitchen has had consistency issues in the past.
Generally speaking it’s a great place to eat giving diners more healthy options and trying to take better care of our planet.
We prefer to go at lunch to avoid the parking garage in the evenings and weekends because it becomes hard to find parking.

Wowzers, this place conquered us! With our gluten allergies, lactose intolerance, Mediterranean diet preferences, almost-vegan person, low-cal Noom diet person and the plain old picky-prefers-meat-and-potatoes person—-True Food gave us each a delicious meal and even desserts! Our kids picked this restaurant for the family meal so we could have a fun conversation and fulfill our foodie desires.
When I Googled it I saw I had put it on my “Want to Go” list —-when we lived in South Florida! Who knew I’d visit it first in Nashville. Our server answered my questions about ingredients and the origins of the True Foods concept (the owners are based in Texas). My spaghetti squash with shredded zucchini, house made marinara and mozzarella tasted like thousands more calories than it was.
Only 410 calories!!! The gluten-free lasagna with dairy-free ricotta (one of the main reasons we landed here), Sauvignon Blanc, coffee, pizza, Italian meatball sub, burger, and flourless chocolate cake were also brimming with flavor and satisfying umph.
Nobody left hungry. Because of the high ceilings, brightly upholstered seating and the expanse of sparkling windows, the mood instantly became joyous.
We chattered, laughed, shared bites and partied. Highly recommended!
