September 11, 2024Topey's Kitchen offers a neat slice of Jamaica right in Detroit! 🇯🇲 I recently stopped by and tried the vegan veggie rasta pasta, which was incredibly creamy and bursting with colorful veggies - definitely a highlight!
The jerk chicken quesadilla, however, fell a bit flat, lacking the rich flavors I hoped for. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, but I did feel the portion sizes were on the smaller side.
Overall, I appreciated the experience and the opportunity to support a black-owned business. I’d love to give their oxtails or curry goat a try next time! 🌟.
