Delicious well-made food. A casual plave to order lunch or breakfast at the counter and have your food or maybe espresso drink brought to a table inside or outside amidst the blooming lavender. The food is authentic but fresh California-Italian hot sandwiches and salads. I enjoy the porchetta sandwich with small side of green salad and the fried chicken sandwich, and every time a properly made cappuccino. The staff are gentle, service-oriented, considerate and friendly.I’ve been going here for 10 years and always look forward to a stop when I’m on the peninsula. There is ample parking.A nice place to meet friends and have some space. Occasionally the pleasantness is brought down by medical staff who think it’s a great place for a conference call.
It's a small restaurant with a couple of tables inside and most of the tables outside, which is where we sat for lunch today. We had the Tuna Panino made with Tuna, capers, radishes with arugula and hard boiled egg.The Pollone is organic chicken breast, endive slaw.capers, onions over a ciabatta roll. Both were very tasty and the chicken breast was very tender and moist. We also ordered some plain croissants and bombolini to go.We ate one of the bomolinis at the restaurant and it was really good!
Review in only for the lavender field. Now is the lavender blooming season, you can see and smell the lavender.Be aware of the bees around the garden.
