As a tourist from America I found Tomasa to be one of the most amazing restaurants in Berlin. The building is like a magical trip back in time. The staff was very accommodating and made sure we were all happy with our visit. The diverse menu choice selections were very nice. And the prices were very reasonable versus the great quality of the food.Highly recommend
Nice spot, particularly for breakfast and brunch. The servers are always really nice and only slow when there's a lot of guests.Really anything off the menu is good and comes in relatively large portions at reasonable prices. In contrast to the crepes however I found the American style pancakes to be quite dense though I wouldn't have expected a lot better from regular German places.A recommendation for sure!
I guess it's OK, because the waiters area trying to make an effort but guests are really stuck up and weird. We were at this place with the family and our little dog.An entitled couple said they felt its inappropriate to eat at same eye level with a dog.Love it or hate it, don't put your opinions on others. The breakfast was OK, not sure what the delight supposed to be behind breaded beet root, wasn't seasoned at all, tasted not great.Too many sweet things on a cheese plate. The menu seems to not change much very often, only with asparagus or Pfifferlinge. Thanks to the waiting staff. But your guests are not our cup of tea.Do try it if you like different breakfast cuisines.
