This is what you think of when you think of a good southern BBQ joint.Staff was all very friendly.Atmosphere was perfect.No loud music or crazy flare.The food was exceptional.The BBQ sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy.After my sandwich they offered up some homemade pecan pie with ice cream.It was the cherry on top to a delicious meal.I wish I lived closer because this would be a regular stop.Great experience all around and the packed parking lot tells you all you need to know.Come eat at Three Sam’s!
Speaking as a Texan who loves BBQ, they only serve chopped brisket, pulled pork, and baby back pork ribs. The two things I normally get, sliced brisket and sausage were not an option so I was a little disappointed, but it gave me a chance to see what the locals liked.I got the chopped brisket w/o the cole slaw on the sandwich and onion rings. The onion rings were outstanding. Large slices with a smooth batter. However the sandwich was not my favorite, but they do give you a large portion for the small sandwich. 😉
Stopped in for lunch for the first time on a recommendation for the Chili Cheese Dog.Best choice I ever made.The smell of the BBQ had my mouth watering.The place was busy and packed, but the staff had everything under control and were very friendly.When my food arrived, the portions were amazing! I tucked away on that dog till I was stuffed, and I still have over 1/2 of it left.This was easily the best chili cheese dog I've ever had! Picked up some cookies to go, and even though I'm not a fan of pecans usually, the caramel pecan cookie was outstanding! I can't wait to go back and try more of the choices on the menu! Thank you for an amazing lunch!
