The Sub Shop

For about as long as it's been open I've heard nothing but positive reviews about The Sub Shop In Elmira.
Back in April I finally gave it a try.
I'm happy to report it did not disappoint.
If you're both really hungry and can't decide which meat is the best on a Sub I highly recommend the Spartan.
The ingredients were fresh and the service was wonderful.
This was one of the best Subs I've ever eaten and I love that Elmira has a Sub Shop (no pun intended) to call its own.

I went here because of the high reviews and wasn't disappointed! I got a 7" Johnny (chopped Italian sub), bag of chips and a drink.
Total was like $15 or so.
Staff was very friendly and greeted me as I entered.
Service was fast even being peak lunch time.
I ate in since I was by myself.
Sandwich was awesome, loads of fillings and bread was good quality.
Overall very pleased and will certainly go back again when in the area.

Wife and I love this place, we always order a spartan sub, best subs in Elmira in our opinion. If we have one gripe it's not really a gripe but something the owner should look at, the sub roll is hohum how about a fancier type bread to go with the awesome ingredients? A crisper crust type semolina and sesame seeds would be a fantastic option even for a bit more in price. Today the tomatoes on the sub are super ripe dark red so succulent just amazing.
We have not tried anything else but this spartan is awesomeness and well worth a try.
Also nice to see small local businesses doing an amazing service.
