Amazing Food and Friendly Staff! I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Shack on Loop 410 and Military West, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely awesome, especially the burgers - they were not only huge but also incredibly tasty. What truly made my visit memorable was the exceptional service provided by the staff.
They were exceptionally attentive and super friendly throughout my time there.
Their warm and welcoming attitude created a delightful atmosphere, making me feel right at home. I would highly recommend The Shack to anyone looking for a great meal with amazing burgers and outstanding service.
This place definitely gets a well-deserved thumbs up from me!

Yes, recommend The Shack.
Small burger joint, serving good food.
Many offerings on the menu, lots of options on sandwiches, sides, and drinks.
Good sized burger, did not need a double.
Seasoned and cooked well.
Great with bacon and egg on it.
Good fries, hot and fresh, even better with chili cheese (beans and all).
Tasty mango drink.
We were not able to finish the meals served; wife said she’ll ask for a kid’s burger next time.
The restaurant is a bit small on the inside, but some tables outside.
It’s stark and spartan, but clean and comfortable.
Want to go back to try the cheesesteaks or a hot dog.
Lots of dog options but not a Chicago version available.
Folks there friendly and busy.

Delicious hamburgers!! I had the Crunch Burger and enjoyed a strawberry banana funnel cake.
My family tried the Macho Burger, Texas Burger, Philly Cheesesteak and a Cheese Burger.
All very tasty! Instead of french fries get the cucumbers with chamoy and tajin.
🤤 I'll be back! Was such a treat.
And if you enjoy coconut, you need to try the Coco Haven...so refreshing!!
