The Melt is a cozy gem in Irvine where comfort food meets modern flair! 🌟 I tried their classic grilled cheese, and it was pure nostalgia, perfectly gooey with a crispy crust. The tomato basil soup that accompanied it was rich and flavorful - an ideal dip!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it great for catching up with friends or a casual solo lunch. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their unique sandwiches and sides! 🌈 Have you tried their mac ‘n’ cheese bites? Delicious!

Great if you really love Mac and cheese noodles.
Ordered two dishes for delivery that looked incredible in the photos but ended up with about 96% noodles and 4% toppings. 4 thin Jalapeño slices 10 morsels of some thinly sliced “steak” the thinnest bell pepper slices I have ever seen. All of the toppings could be picked up with my fork. They should advertise it as Mac and Cheese and some garnish. I was hungry and usually when you’re hungry food tastes better but it was still just some noodles and cheese sauce lol. Shouldn’t be surprised as this seems to be standard for eating out anywhere these days but alas it would be nice to find a place that doesn’t just want to capitalize off of you. Transported into my own bowl to reheat..

Chill, casual vibe if you're looking for something quick to grab while shopping.
Get one of their sandwiches (rather than their mac/cheese); got both (I forgot which sandwich, sorry) and definitely preferred the sandwich.
Mac/cheese was good but lacked a complexity with the cheese. Has pretty good amount of seating inside (maybe can fit about 20-30 people) and seating outside if it's not too cold.

Such a beautiful experience, the food and service were a 10/10 place my boyfriend brought me raving, such a wonderful environment, we could laugh and enjoy the Parmesan Fries and Patty melt, at the register she also asked if we wanted onions which I’m deathly a NO! And I like that they can remember the little things.
