The food service was quick, and most of the food was excellent in taste, texture, and temperature. However, a few pieces of the chicken kabob were really dry. The young man who took our order was less than thrilled when we walked in.He left before our food arrived, so his shift was nearly over, and he couldn't wait to leave. The restaurant was clean, but it lacked any character. I would eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Hi D! Thank you for this review and for your valuable feedback. We hope that, if given the chance in the future, we will be able to provide you with a five-star experience.
Arrived at 6:55 pm with a party of 4, excited to get our Mediterranean fix.The restaurant looked pretty busy as there were a few people waiting for orders. The girl at the register told us their dining room closes at 7 so we wouldn't be able to eat our food there. We asked what time the restaurant closed (because on their door it states winter hours, close at 8 pm.) She told us they close the dining room an hour early. Though we didn't get the food to-go, we decided to take our money elsewhere, I still felt compelled to write the review because other potential diners and customers should be aware of this important factor when considering grabbing dinner here. When we looked up Mediterranean near us, this detail was not mentioned on the business page or in other reviews, so hoping this helps someone not make the same mistake. To the business owner- please consider changing this.I understand why you'd want it closed an hour early- so employees can clean up and clock-out early, but if your kitchen is open and your doors are still open, your paying customers should still be welcomed at your establishment.

I’m so sorry for your experience. The dining room closes 30 minutes before close. There’s something wrong.I’ll speak with the manager and make sure that this doesn’t happen again.I’m truly sorry for your experience.I do hope you give us another chance.
Order at the counter, pick your favorite seat, and get ready for some yummy Greek food! We over-ordered but were glad that we sampled so many dishes. While we waited for someone to join us, we tried the lemon soup and the dip sampler. The avgolemono soup was warm, creamy, and delicious. My picky son ate it spoonful after spoonful and then dipped warm pita in the bowl to capture the rest. The dip sampler could have been a meal by itself. Each of the dips was about four ounces, more than enough for a family or small group to share. This sampler included tzatziki (cucumber yogurt dip), hummus, melitzanosalata (a roasted eggplant dip similar to baba ganoush), and tirokafteri (a strong blend of feta, cream cheese and red peppers that no one in our group really liked). After our friend arrived, we ordered entrees. We requested the chicken souvlaki, Greek salad wrap with falafel and shrimp skewers. The meats were juicy and perfectly seasoned. The side salads were fresh and crisp, with a generous amount of feta covering the top.More warm pita and tzatziki were definite bonuses. Our only criticism was that the lemon potatoes could have been cooked longer. That's it! The kids meals were huge. Our kids are at the age when they split their tastes between the kids' menu and the adult menu.I'm happy they choose the kids' menu this time--just as much food for half the price. They each ate shrimp skewers (four shrimp) with French fries, a cute side salad and more warm pita. We're definitely glad that we tried this place near Children's Hospital Colorado. The food exceeded our expectations and stuffed us to the brink.Next time we will save room for baklava and other desserts. The staff was polite -- not friendly nor unfriendly -- so they did not take away from our fun evening. I found out later that the Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a chain restaurant.I'll keep an eye out for locations outside of Aurora and Westminster.
