I recently visited The Godmother of Soul Food and was excited to dive into their comfort offerings! The fried whiting was a highlight – perfectly crispy and delicious with a hint of their special sauce. 🌟

I tried the combo with wingettes, yams, and mac & cheese. The yams were definitely the star, sweet but not overwhelming. The mac was good but could’ve used a bit more creaminess. The waiting time was a bit longer than expected, but the friendly service made it worth it.

Don’t miss the Passion Punch if you go! 🍹 I'll definitely be back for more!
