The Chequers offers a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that draws you in immediately. I visited last Sunday for their famous roast dinner, and it did not disappoint! Huge portions and perfectly cooked meat left me satisfied. The nachos sharer was the highlight, though - so indulgent!

The staff are genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home, especially Sarah! The combination of great food and a welcoming vibe makes it a perfect spot for groups and families. I’ll gladly return for the lively quiz night... 🍽️
