I’ve never been to the Sunday brunch before!! We sat outside and the weather was nice! The shrimp on the banh mi was fishy, but the pork belly was great.
Anyone at the table who got cheese grits felt they were kind of mid since it wasn’t cheesy and a bit dry.
Those who got pancakes said it was a bit rubbery, like maybe the baking powder expired? The service was great and attentive! The table favorites were avocado fries, stuffed beignets, and pimento cheese.
The apps were better than the meals, but overall still very delicious.
Espresso martini was the table favorite, hands down!

Our experience at the Mule Restaurant in Mobile was quite disappointing.
When we first walked in, there was no one at the small entrance to greet us, and the restaurant was full.
The seating area was cramped, and we stood at the door waiting for someone to address us.
Despite seeing waitstaff serving other tables, no one stopped to help us.
Another large group entered, and they too were ignored. We decided to leave and waited outside.
As we were taking pictures and searching for another restaurant on Google, we noticed people leaving, so we decided to give it another try.
To our surprise, there were still no waitstaff available to assist us.
Empty seats were given to others, and we continued to wait until someone finally approached us and said, "If you want to eat outside, you are welcome to do so." We decided it was time to go. The back patio was a awful, with filth and mold—clearly in need of a lot of attention.
We didn’t end up eating there, so we can't comment on the food, but the poor service was enough for us to decide not to return.
We would not recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a “snack” to hold me over until returning home for dinner.
What a charming hole-in-the-wall type place! Ordered a cup of gumbo and it was phenomenal, although a tad heavy on the rice.
Wonderful taste and had multiple large shrimp in it as well as Conecuh sausage; the roux tasted delicious.
The waitress was adorable and very attentive.
Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!
