The Americano Restaurant

We got to meet Chef Scott Conant - Yay!! Thank you for coming to our table and giving my girl Caitlin a big birthday hug.
I’ve been here for my Anniversary when the restaurant first opened and again for my gf’s birthday dinner.
Both times I’ve had a wonderful time but this last visit takes the cake.
The new Speakeasy downstairs (Tell Your Friends) for a little night cap and coffee with live music was key.
We ordered a number of items from the menu to share because we all wanted a bit of everything.
Appetizers would both be highly recommended.
The House made focaccia and Buratta.
I just love Buratta so much! Also incorporated a scrumptious Caesar salad.
The Wagyu bolognese was oh so flavorful with tons of wagyu on top.
Salty and delightful was the dry-aged ribeye which I would absolutely order again or recommend my husband order so I can take some bites.
The star of the show was the massive Veal Chop Parmigiana.
Not only was it huge we just couldn’t stop digging in well after being full.
The best thing I tried personally would be the Braised Short rib and Bone Marrow ravioli shaped like candies.
I feel like I need to go back just for this dish but it was seasonal and top notch.
Please don’t forget dessert because that Salted Caramel Budino with a bite of the Affogato was the ticket.
Everyone’s eyes rolled back in their heads haha!

We were nervous about trying a new spot while visiting Scottsdale.
Especially an upscale Italian Steakhouse.
Stephen, our sweet server, put us at ease.
He was helpful, kind and coursed our meal just right for sharing.
This is an intimate type of restaurant but not stuffy.
We thoroughly enjoyed dinner on a high top table in the dimly lit bar area.
Lots of parking available surrounding the restaurant.
Modern decor and very inviting inside. Here's what we ordered and we devoured it all unashamedly. Burrata w/Arugula Salad and Peaches - perfectly toasted bread and the creaminess of the burrata was heavenly.
There was a sweet/tart fruit compote as well which paired nicely with the burrata. Pasta w/Wagyu Bolognese - Al dente house made tagliatelle tossed in a delightful tender sauce.
So good! Asparagus - Our first option was broccolini but they ran out.
The asparagus was yummy and seasoned. Ribeye - Grilled to our liking and sliced for easy sharing.

Beef is sourced from Nebraska. Birthday Dessert - Assortment of sorbet and gelato.
We also ordered an affagato. We ate everything and enjoyed our dining experience.
Definitely recommend this spot.

I've been coming here for years and find the food very consistent. The restaurant is visually stunning.
My goto entree is the tagliatelle wagyu bolognese.
That said, the bone-in veal parmigiana is excellent, as are the steaks. Service is always on point, and the restaurant attracts a sophisticated clientele.
I like coming to an establishment where people look and dress well. As other reviewers have noted, the carrot cake is a stand-out desert.
