Thai Bangkok Restaurant

Wife and I were recommended this restaurant.
The place is small, but just fine - like an old school mom-and-pop diner atmosphere.
Service was very quick and attentive.
The food was decent, and certainly gave you enough, but they put more towards pure heat than the flavor of the ingredients (my wife had mild while I had medium).
We'd go again the next time we're in that area.

Visiting from STL for business and decided to stop into this little gem.
The restaurant has been there a long time so don’t expect modern decor but more of a old school small business that has been there a few decades.
That being said the restaurant is VERY clean.
We started with their crab wontons.
I was pleasantly surprised with a pineapple sauce for the dip instead of the usual bottled sweet n sour sauce you get other places that is way to sweet.
The pineapple dipping sauce had a nice balance of flavor and was not too sweet which allowed the wonton to really shine.
Their wontons were creamy and crunchy.
Great balance.
We ordered the Tom Kha Shrimp soup.
My husband loved it.
Personally I like mine to be more coconut forward and a tad sweeter.
I would have also enjoyed a bit more punch of spices.
For an entree we had the Pad Pak with Shrimp.
It was EXCELLENT.
The dish may not look fancy but the flavors were exactly what I would expect a home cooked meal to taste like in this chef’s house.
The service was excellent.
Kind and friendly man who runs the place.
Definitely a restaurant we would visit again.
