Had much higher expectations based on reviews.
Stopped by mid afternoon.
Ate inside.
Fast and easy ordering at window.
Ordered burnt ends with beans.
Wifey ordered ribs and Cole slaw.
Super friendly and fast service! Pop and water available.
Bottled water is complimentary.
Ribs came sauced and were average tasting, kind of chewy.
Cole slaw tasted supermarket takeout.
Burnt ends were chewy also and came sauced as well.
No caramelization whatsoever.
Beans were very sweet, but had a good flavor.
Maybe an off day for this place? Overall it was below expectations.

We wanted authentic BBQ and we found it.
Tiny place but the food was exceptional.
I had grill cheese brisket with beans and potatoes salad.
The toast was toasted nicely the brisket was melt in your mouth good..
the baked beans were the best I have ever had, smokey flavor but not over done with a little spice at the end that stays with you.
They put smoked turkey and smoked brisket in the beans.
My daughter got the brisket cheese steak and it was piled high and delicious.
Friend got the original Philly cheese steak and said it was really good too.
My other friend got spicy wings.
But meaty wings and they give you four which is enough for one person they use a dry rub and she said they were excellent..
But the Fries are to die for the spice they put in them you will not want to dip them in anything.
If you are in Kansas City Mo.
You really should try Taste of Kansas City BBQ.
Forgot to say how friendly the service was and the regular are friendly too.

We came to Kansas City randomly from Wisconsin.
We were just google random food and found this GEM! Run, don't walk to get their burnt ends and brisket! The smoked wings are so good.
The flavors were on point you really didn't need the sauce which was also fire! Service was fantastic and they let me take some homemade pickles home (definitely ask for extra)!
