I had high hopes for Taqueria Gordolele in Brownsville, especially after hearing about their mini tacos! 🌮 The Tacos Gordolele indeed packed flavorful meat, though they’re on the smaller side. I loved the variety of salsas to choose from - each one added a unique twist!

The charros beans were a standout, rich with bacon and pork cueritos, while the mini torta had fresh, delicious bread.

Although I faced a hiccup with a pricey desebrada torta lacking fillings, the nostalgic flavors brought me back to my childhood visits to Gordolele.

Sadly, they are temporarily closed right now... Can’t wait to return!
