October 27, 2024Tabaq is a go-to spot for authentic desi nashta, but don’t expect a polished dining experience. The ambiance mimics the charm of a traditional Lahore dhaba, making it feel homey and familiar.
I highly recommend the nihari – it's rich and flavorful, surpassing typical takeout versions. The halwa puri is tasty, although the channa could use a little tweaking. On a recent visit, the desi omelet with paratha stole the show. Just be prepared for a casual vibe, and maybe skip the chai! 🌟
