The food was excellent.

We picked a last minute sushi spot based on the high rating and ended up pretty disappointed.
The service and atmosphere was great, but the food was lacking.
My 9 yo had a California roll - my husband and I felt it wasn't up to par.
We had some gyoza that was pretty good.
The Monkey brain - I couldn't really enjoy it because it tasted like oil, as if the oil wasn't hot enough when they fried it.
The crunchy roll was also meh.
