We have been wanting to try this place for awhile and decided to give it shot and so glad we did.Have lived on the east coast for the last 10 years and would road trip up to Philly just to get good cheesesteaks but this place has to be the best Phillys outside of Philly. We order the garlic parm cheese steak that was bursting with garlic flavor, the broad street bully cheesesteak that was huge in portion and just mouth watering and lastly the bacon cheese burger. The service walking in was very attentive, the inside was small and chill like a typical sandwich spot but very clean. As I was leaving the gentleman in the back which could have been the owner also interactive. We will definitely be back.
Never been here before but heard really good things. It’s not in the fanciest area and it doesn’t look special from the outside, and that’s how you know it’s a good place to eat.I ordered the hot pastrami and it’s was delicious.Prices were very good considering today’s economy.Would try this place again as they have so many ways to make a cheesesteak and burgers.
My honest review from a verified foodie lol! I was looking for a Philly cheese steak shop in my neighborhood.I'm finally branching out in my area.I researched and found this spot. After reading some of the reviews I thought I'd try it out.I tried to order most everything I liked from sides to two sandwiches.I ordered the Southern Philly Cheesesteak and the Pastrami.I ordered fried mushrooms, onion rings and the parmesean fries.I'll start with the sides. They are a NO for me.The onion rings are definitely bag bought not real onion rings (I'm an onion ring connoisseur and I know these are just frozen bag onion rings and yuck!) I haven't been to any place that can top Famer Boys Onion rings anywhere! Farmer boys use REAL big onions adn fry them fresh on the spot! The fried mushrooms same thing frozen bag mushrooms and again yuck (I love mushrooms too...and these were not the biz!).I'm not too sure what was going on with the Parm fries?? They were seasoned really good but hella greasy....Parm oil?? They were soggy and not crispy at all.Funny part is I couldn't eat all of them so I saved them.I actually ate them the next day and they just tasted like I was eating a well seasoned baked potato in the form of fries Lol! Now on to the sandwiches...I give them a 3 star out of 5.Reason is because I take one point away from them being too salty on both and a point away from the bread (the roll).I didn't care for the bread too much.Other than that the sandwiches were really good! I had so much food I got full quick.I saved the halves of the sandwiches left for the next day and they were still really good. The two guys that worked there (maybe he was the owner up front?) and the chef in the back Both hella cool! Bottom line is would I go back? YES...would I recommend? YES so try them out I think you'll like them!...I won't order the sides again (I might try the parm fries one more time) but I will definitely be back to try more sandwiches on the menu!!
